CALL TO AUDITION  for Jack And The Beanstalk

Nanaimo Theatre Group’s annual Pantomime.

​

Saturday August 16 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Wednesday August 20 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

​

At the Bailey Studio, 2373 Rosstown Road, Nanaimo, B.C.

​​

Performance dates are December 18 to 31 with both evening and matinee shows (13 total performances)

​​

For the following roles:

​

Ages 14 years and older…8 leads & 8 chorus…non gender specific.

​​

List of Characters:

​

Pat O’Butter - the dairy fairy 

​

Dame Rosebud - sassy and loveable 

 

Jack - Dame’s son - brave and true 

 

Princess Sapphire - sweet and determined 

​

King Rupert the Remarkable - self-important 

 

Clarence - the King’s daft herald 

 

Buddy - the Dame’s comedian wanna-be cowhand

 

Marcus Mayhem - the Giant’s evil right-hand man 

​

Sunflower - the Dame’s dairy cow (doubles as chorus)

 

Chorus - villagers, guards etc.
