NTG in the Community

Nanaimo Theatre Group is a 100% volunteer organization. Every season, our members commit hundreds of hours of their time, united in their passion to present high quality community theatre.

As a group, we sometimes have the opportunity to give back to the community in other ways.

Every year we offer our costumes and props for rent to people and other theatre groups.

Here are some of the other ways we have supported our local community:

Portal Players Fundraiser

After participating in the annual Theatre BC North Island Zone Festival in Qualicum, we hosted Portal Players award winning production of Blackbird to help send them to the Provincial Mainstage Festival in Fort St. John BC.

Giving back to the community 1 Kilowatt at a time.

NTG has taken advantage of rebates offered by BC Hydro to commercial customers to support the installation of solar panels on our roof.

NHF Fundraiser

We donated the net proceeds from our dress rehearsal for our Christmastime Pantomime Mother Goose.

Loaves and Fishes Donation

We collected food and cash donations for Loaves and Fishes during 1 of our dress rehearsals.
