Florence Foster Jenkins

Lorna has appeared in a number of comedies and musicals at the Bailey, including Self Help, Cabaret, Exit the King, Godspell, Blood Brothers, Something’s Afoot, and several pantomimes. A proud NTG Life Member, she is usually found helping the costume team, but this time has enjoyed being a subject of their creative attention. Like Florence, Lorna grew up surrounded by music and the desire to perform – but hopefully that is where the comparison ends! Please enjoy our retelling of this remarkable woman’s story.
