Kaz Crawford
Kaz Crawford (They/Them) is a recent graduate of VIU with big lofty theatre dreams. This is Kaz's first role where they get to do a Scottish accent. As exciting as this is, almost every surname in their family is Scottish, so they are really hope their ancestors don't cringe too hard at their attempts.
When they're not acting, you can usually find Kaz playing guitar, wandering the streets of Nanaimo, hunched over their laptop scriptwriting, or seated at a Dungeons and Dragons table.
Recent credits of theirs include "Frank-N-Furter" in Satyr Players' 29th Annual Rocky Horror Picture Show shadowplay (Directed by Rigby Mugridge), "Erin" in Theoxenia, a play about sadistic gods torturing a polycule that went up at the Nanaimo Fringe Festival (Written and Directed by Evan Shumka), and "Howie Newsome/Joe Stoddard" in Our Town at VIU (Directed by Dorothy Dittrich). Kaz would like to thank their family, friends, and two cats (Ood and Ratthew) for being unwaveringly supportive of the weird stuff they do. They hope you enjoy the boat ride! (Don't fall off!)
