Ed has been a member of Nanaimo Theatre Group since first joining in 1979 at the age of 14, mostly doing lights and sound for many NTG shows. He has also helped stage manage, produce, and assistant direct with the group. In 2019 he took on the executive position of President.
After many seasons with NTG, he is excited to be part of something “new” to the group. Poetry in Motion will be our first entry into the One-Act Festival held annually in Qualicum. With so many other projects going on in our theatre, adding “just one more show” into the mix is no small feat. This show, with it’s cast size, setting and low technical requirements makes for a perfect fit! He is hopeful this leads to further opportunities for new directors and playwrights. Presenting this show in the lounge takes us back to our roots, as this was our original Bailey Studio presentation space before we added on our 172-seat theatre.
