After designing sets at the Bailey for over 20 years, and also intermittently at the Ladysmith Little Theatre and for Echo Players, this is the first one where I’ve tried to add ceilings to a couple of bedrooms in a farmhouse. But thanks to the very able assistance of Ivan Klok and the indulgence of our director Laura, I trust it will produce the desired “suspension of the disbelief” in the audience.
