Nicolle Nattress*

Nicolle is grateful to live, work and create on the unceded and ancestral territory of the Snaw’na’as First Nations people. Nicolle has enjoyed a 20+ long professional career as an award winning actor (CAEA) and playwright (PGC), director and dramaturge. She is a certified Intimacy Director (PIP Training) and has worked as an Intimacy Director on productions of Seven Stories (Western Edge Theatre Company), Cabaret (Ladysmith Little Theatre), Hurry Hard (Langley Little Theatre), Corker (Langley Little Theatre) and The First to Stand (Nanaimo Fringe Festival). She is honored to support Nanaimo Theatre Group again, having supported as Workshop Director/Assistant Director on the following productions, Woman in Black and God of Carnage. She is proud to serve her community in multiple ways, for Theatre BC as an adjudicator, workshop facilitator and jury member, as Artistic Associate/Director/Dramaturge for Theatre One and programmed Emerging Voices from 2013-2021. Nicolle is also a Registered Therapeutic Counselor (RTC, CAC II) and now has a private practice in Nanaimo, Tender-Hearted Recovery Consultation.
