Michael Armstrong
Theodore Sunderson
Michael has been acting pretty much continuously since he was 15. That's 54 years if you're counting, which he's not. He has worked professionally, on and off, for the past 25 years. He has acted extensively with Victoria's Blue Bridge Repertory Theatre in recent years; including roles as Morgan in Michael Healey's The Drawer Boy alongside Canadian First Nations acting icon Gary Farmer, and Willie in Beckett's Happy Days in support of Donna Belleville, another Canadian legend. Since moving to Nanaimo eight years ago, he has focused on directing and playwriting. His only significant appearance here was in the winter of 2019 as Scrooge in Christmas Carol, which was co-directed by Dean Chadwick who is, coincidentally, playing Bob Martindale tonight. This is his first appearance with NTG. As always, his heart and his gratitude belong to his wonderfully talented and supportive partner, Beth DeVolder.
