Laine Wells

Sophia is happy to once again be taking the stage with NTG.  Having worked with NTG on and off since 1995 she has most recently been seen playing multiple roles in All in the Timing in 2024, and playing Marie Curie in 2023's production of The Half Life of Marie Curie.  She has also been recently onstage in Western Edge Theatre's 2025 production of Baker's Dozen, and in Leila Sadeghi's The First to Stand for the 2025 Nanaimo Fringe Festival.  Sophia is a graduate of VIU's Malaspina Theatre Program with a certificate in Stage Management, and of Langara College's Studio 58 Acting program.  She is grateful to be part of the team presenting this show, both because it is timely and heartbreaking , and also because this is a fantastic group to work with.
